Lazy S Ranch & Kennels officially opened its doors to the boarding and grooming of dogs in December of 2004. Despite being a relatively new facility, both the kennel owners Sue & Phil Ingram and the co-manager Lauren Hirtz have a lifetime of experience in regards to owning, training, and raising dogs. The Ingrams and Ms. Hirtz also share close to 20 years experience owning and occasionally breeding purebred AKC Siberian Huskies under the name Napeequa Siberians. We are no longer raising Siberians at the present time however, having chosen to concentrate our efforts on the dog kennel business instead.Lazy S Ranch & Kennels is also a licensed kennel facility under the Georgia Department of Agriculture, Animal Protection Section.
In Loving Memory: Napeequa's
Delilah Wolfchild & Nanook Nickita
Currently, our own five canines - Poncho (male, Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix), Raz (male, Siberian Husky/Border Collie mix), Midgit (female, German Shepherd mix), Harley (male, Australian Shepherd) and Mullin (male, Border Collie mix) - take up residence in our kennel building, right alongside our boarders. You can be assured that we will treat your pet just as if they were one of our own - with love and care, and lots of personal attention! In addition to their love for dogs, the Ingrams also have a passion for Quarter Horses. Together they continue to raise, breed, and show their AQHA horses, having done so for many years now as well.

Community Involvement - Saving Georgia Dogs / Eleventh Hour Rescue
Did you know that every day an Eleventh Hour comes to each shelter in Georgia? Unwanted dogs, mothers with their pups, etc. are euthanized on a regular basis. Not humanely through the use of an injection, but by being placed in the gas chamber. In 2006, Lazy S Kennels was approached to foster dogs for Saving Georgia Dogs and other rescue groups in North Georgia. We take care of these mostly mixed breed dogs and puppies until the shelters and rescue organizations that we work with can find suitable forever homes for them.
